Clean and Simple

I've always been a fan of CAS design in everything from cards to home decor. I found myself very inspired by Saturday's skip over at the OWH Stars & Stamps. To me CAS means that the design has only as much as necessary to communicate the message. Of course a CAS design should also ideally follow the other basic Principles of Design. The 3 Principles I always try to concentrate on are Center of Interest (Focal Point), Balance & Contrast. Here are two I made yesterday that I think would fall into the category of CAS.

I created the Thinking of You sentiment in the first card and I'm sharing it here.
As always feel free to use it in any of your crafting projects. Post a link back here if you'd like to share it but please do not sell it, repost it or claim it as your own. Just click on it and then use the 'save as' command to save it to you computer.

Happy Crafting Everyone!

  8. Paula, your sentiments are fabulous! Love them and was inspired to use one of them today. I hope you like what I've done with it, paired it with a sweet 'A Day for Daisies' image and just love how it came out. Have linked you in my post. Hugs and thanks, Wends x
