OWH Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop

Welcome! I am very excited to be able to participate in this year's OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop. I think this is the 3rd we've had and they just get better each year! Thanks to everyone who participates and supports OWH through cards and monetary donations and to our shippers for all their hard work throughout the year.

I chose sketch #26 and decided to combine it with a recent OWH Tuesday Tutorial that I knew I wanted to try the minute I saw it. Cara's Scrappy Background tutorial can be found here. The OWH collection of sketches is here. I created the sentiment myself and if you'd like it for your own use you can scroll down and grab it in the post before this one.

Printed papers are from a DCVW Summer Stack, the edge punch is EK Success and the stars are sequins held in place with a red brad. I used a label sheet as my base for creating the 'scrappy' background which I found a bit easier and quicker that using my ATG gun.

Now you are ready to go back to the top of the hop. Just click on the banner at the top of this post or use this link Stars & Stamps blog and you'll be back at the start of the hop.

Thanks for visting and enjoy the hop!
