I had some paper scraps I was determined to turn into cards. I have a 1-1/4" square punch which made these easy to do. The only piece I had to fuss with is the sentiment strip. You do need to go slow as you need to get the squares placed just right since it's a precise fit and to make sure they'd feel coordinated I worked with prints from the same paper pad by K&Company.
I created a sketch in case you want to give this a try and could use some visual guidance. I can definitely see myself using this design for cards for many occasions by switching out the papers and sentiment.
Happy Crafting Everyone!
This is great Paula! I really like the quilted effect. Another great way to utilize scraps effectively. Thank you for sharing and for the sketch too!

ReplyDeletePaula, your cards are beautiful! I love the papers mixed like this. I never would have thought to make the sentiment one piece; it's always a struggle for me to figure out how to get one on my cards. Thank you so much for the sketch. I'll be using it soon!
