I'm not sure if the 'chalkboard' trend is still going strong or starting to dwindle but I've made embossing white on black part of my regular go-to techniques. Sometimes with the smudging and sometimes, as in this case, without.

It's been a couple of weeks since I've made anything. I'm having a hard time motivating myself to craft... I need to unpack supplies and set up for each session and lately I can't convince myself that it's worth it to go through all that and maybe get a couple of cards out before I need to pack it all up again... maybe this will be the weekend I manage it.
Sorry to hear you are still in a slump; you have inspired so many of us! The chalkboard continues to provide great visual pop!
ReplyDeleteI think the chalkboard look is timeless, and it's very nice with your heart-print paper (looks like the chalkboard flower!) and torn red edges.
