This is both the ODBD Challenge (it uses patterned paper, embossing, ribbon, die cuts, a colored image and piercing --- hmmm, that's 6 things) and it is also based on this week's OWH Sketch.
Though this one would also qualify for the ODBD Challenge (it actually uses all the same as above except the piercing) I'm going to post it as the "die-cut" challenge.
Thanks to everyone who hosted this weekend's virtual card making party. I wish I had more time to play along.
Happy Crafting Everyone!
Hi Paula! I love these cake cards! Great colors and the dies work great with the cakes. I think the die on your second card is turning out to be one of my most favorite ones.
ReplyDeleteOnce again you share some of your wonderful work with us. Love your pretty ribbon use on the tag.
ReplyDeleteThanks too for all your involvement with OWH.
Paula, I love your cake cards! I simply adore that image in the first card.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards for the challenges, and I just love that colorful cake! The bright colors just make me feel happy :) NJ on both!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty, Paula! I love how you anchored the ribbon in the first card. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe way you made the patterns on the cake come out by pairing them with similar patterned papers really looks nice. Thanks for playing along with this week's sketch!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards as always! Love all the colors, images, layers and ribbons! TFS!!!
ReplyDeleteLet them eat cake! I always admire the way you build a card. Your focal point always takes center stage. Beautiful cards!
