I try to write a few 'Any Hero' notes to include in every box of cards I ship to OWH. I admit that writing a note to someone I don't know and have never met isn't always the easiest thing for me to do but after I have, I am always glad I did and it helps to crystalize for me just how much these heroes sacrifice for all of us.
Keep in mind that unlike the cards we send to heroes for them to write home on, Any Hero cards do not have to be hand-crafted. If you'd like ot write some cards but don't know where to start you can visit the OWH site for help, guidelines and even free coloring pages for the kids!
Happy Crafting Everyone!

TFS Paula. So patriotic! I do love red, white and blue!
these are both great cards, and I too struggle with writing any hero cards. These sentiments are the perfect way to start!
Paula, very cute cards. That blue is so nice and bright.
I love your Any Hero cards, Nikki's images are perfect for them too! Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home!
Pretty cards! That's a great idea to dedicate a couple of card making sessions to Any Hero cards. I'm enjoying your blog :)
Hi Paula! It's fun to see how you used Nikki's pre-colored digis. I love that she makes them available in both colored and not colored! I also love your idea of setting aside some time to "stockpile" AnyHero cards.
What wonderful anyhero cards, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing these cards Paula! I am in the midst of creating a nice stack of blank Any Hero cards to take to a crop on May 14 to have available for the other ladies to sign. I will definately be heading over to Nikki's blog and using these two digis - don't know how I missed them before!
