Playing Catch Up

I got to do some card making this past weekend and decided I'd play catch up on some of the recent challenges. Here is my take Sketch Challenge #83.

My try at last week's Midweek Throwdown with 'Inchies'. This older StampinUp stamp made this challenge easy. I wasn't as pleased with the other attempts I made but plan to try these again in the future.

And the Wavy Banner Tutorial, which is fun and easy way  to use those long, clear sentiments. If you struggle with getting those long sentiments stamped straight you should give this tutorial a try. The background on this card is an actual map cut down.

Wonderful! You have been busy. My favorite, as a collector of old globes, is the map card.

All great cards, Paula! I love the CAS style of your sketch card. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!

Your cards all turned out great. I too am going to give that wavy banner a try after seeing your card. I have paper that has a larger pattern and after seeing your card, I think that banner approach would work.

Neat cards! I like the layout on the first one, the gorgeous older SU stamps spelling out LOVE on the second one, and the wavy banner on the third. I am really loooving the SU stamp set, though!

Gorgeous cards Paula! I really LOVE the first one, that was based on this week's Sketch. The colors you chose look fabulous together!!

It's so fun to see how many different ways we all use one sketch!

I'm learning to LOVE CAS more and more!!

Paula,
Wow! You've been a BUSY GIRL!!! Good for you catching up. You are more ambitious than me..... I just gave up and said forgetaboutit! I Love your LOVE card - colors are GORGEOUS and it is so elegant with the red ribbon! My favorite of the 3 would have to be the map card. Just perfect with the stamps - very masculine! I haven't tried the wavy sentiments - you've given me inspiration. You're stamp looks like it was made this way - it fits with the card perfectly.
