I struggled a bit with the sketch design and went on to do some other variations including this one which is more of a CAS design. I think I prefer the single wider strip to the two smaller ones.

Sketch Challenge #122
Here is my take on this week's OWH Sketch Challenge. I decided it would be nice to show this Stamper's Best stamp in a non-patriotic color combo. I think it makes a nice masculine design and I decided not to add a sentiment so it could be used for anything from a hello, to a thank you to a birthday.

You were totally successful in making a very good looking masculine card for general purposes. Love the color combo and the "cleanness" of it.

I think the default would've been to go with patriotic papers, but I love what you chose instead! It's a super masculine, all purpose card. I like them both -- the double strip and the single, and especially like the way you notched the bottom of them.
I like the both, Paula! Great use of that E Pluribus Unum stamp, makes me want to get that one too :) Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
Both cards look good to me, and I think they make great masculine cards.
These are great, Paula! I really like your wide banner!
Love this image with the non-patriotic papers. What a difference it makes! These cards can be used for anything. I know your shipper appreciates that. ;) Actually, I know your shipper appreciates all your cards!
