Idea Overload

As is often the case after a big blog hop I found myself with so many ideas all competing for space in my mind that I didn't know where to start! There were so many wonderful cards, techniques and challenges to absorb that I decided the best I could do would be to choose one thing to focus on. I decided I'd try to join in on the Paper Smooches challenges since it was the first one I saw when it was posted on the OWH FB wall.

There were 3 challenges and I've attempted them all... and though it wasn't a requirement I decided that I would the one Paper Smooches set I have for all three (well I also have Jerome The Gnome...man is he ever cute!) which is Circle of Honor, the OWH fundraiser set.

One Layer Card
Okay this probably really truly is not one layer since I stamped the star, embossed the paper and then cut them out. I will say the creating a one layer card is very, very hard. I cannot recall a day in recent memory when I threw away as many cards as I did in an attempt to get this one done.
Use Pink in Your Card
The pink burst stamp used on the stamped piece and the sentiment are from the Circle of Honor set. It is difficult to see in this photo but the yellow circle is stamped in a tone-on-tone manner with the smaller starburst stamp in this set.

Card Based on OWH Sketch #135

The eagle, star in the background layer and the sentiment are all from the Circle of Honor set. This has become my 'go to set' for creating cards to write my Any Hero notes in since I got it.

I wish I had the entire week to just sit and create but I'm glad I at least got to do some crafting and I took many notes as I hopped along yesterday so I will have plenty of inspiration to keep me going for weeks.

Happy Crafting Everyone!
