OWH Sketch #162

It's been a long time since I've joined in on an OWH Sketch Challenge but I managed to do this week's and here is what I came up with. I wasn't thrilled with leaving the purple, flag element plain so I decide to use old "tone-on-tone" trick using a smaller cupcake image from the same set to create a paper that would coordinate and add a little detail without fighting the other pattern.

I'm not totally sure of who makes this image but my guess is either Inkadinkadoo or Stampendous but I am always attracted to cupcakes (and not just the rubber stamp kind, LOL :) and have had this set for years. Papers are by Doodlebug.

Happy Crafting!

I often forget all about my Versamark pad, but it's a great way to stretch your card stock and turn it into patterned paper. Thanks for reminding me about this technique, Paula. :)
