This weekend I made just 7 cards. Let me start by first saying for some that could be a lot of cards but for me it represents a major change. With the exception of special events, like the OWH Virtual Card Making Parties or Blog Hops, I have almost always made cards in multiples of 6. But I've decided that going forward I'm going to switch to making one-of-a-kind designs. I guess you could say that I've not only been working on weeding down my supplies to only the things I really like, I've been rearranging my approach and thinking towards card making too. Don't get me wrong, I am no less dedicated to supplying our heroes with cards to write home on but I've decided that it's equally important to be sure I'm fully enjoying the process.
The first of the seven cards I have to share throughout the week is this one created with an adorable digital image/sentiment set that Birdie Brown has given away during the month of April as part of a challenge. If you head on over quick you can still join in until April 30th.
Image & Sentiment ~ Birdie Brown
Papers ~ Stampin Up Print Poetry 4x6 Pad
Ribbon ~ Stampin Up
Dies ~ Spellbinders Large Ovals and Labels 22
Prismacolor Art Markers
This ribbon is beautiful but a bit too thick for OWH cards when tied into a bow like this so I'll be using is for the upcoming birthday of a friend who is an avid photographer.
Happy Crafting!

Paula, you are always an inspiration to me. I've been following your blog in blog reader, but they have discontinued that. I used to make multiples regularly too, but no longer find that enjoyable. I'm with you. Do what you enjoy. The cards look better that way.
love that card. I also downloaded that image but I haven't used it yet
I rarely make cards in more than 2 of the same design
Cute card and digi! Thanks for the heads up :)
Beautiful card! I will often make 4 of something for OWH, especially if my brain needs a rest. And if I'm feeling more creative, I might make a new design for each card. Either way, I agree with you, it's important to enjoy the process.
How beautiful! Love the combination of PP and the pink ribbon is soooo pretty! Thank you for joining this month's challenge at Birdie Brown.
This is adorable, Paula! So sweet!
