California Poppies

The card share I have today uses one of the OWH digis created by Sandy Allnock. I'd collected these back when they were originally posted but have only gotten to coloring a couple and this is one I've never used before. Poppies are such pretty flowers and I had a lot of fun coloring this. I love that the sentiments were incorporated into them meaning once your coloring is done it's just a matter of coordinating a paper or two and your card is pretty much done.

I've had this printed ribbon in my stash for a long time but have only manage to use it once or twice. I am attracted to printed ribbons but find them really hard to use unless it's a really clean and simple design. I wasn't sure about using it on this card but decided I'd go ahead and live on the wild side, LOL and I think I like it.
