Case Study Challenge #148 - Butterflies

I'm playing along today in Case Study Challenge #148. It's another 'new to me' challenge. I've checked it out many times and admired the DT work but this is the first time I'm playing along. The muse for this challenge is Jocelyn Olson, who I had the pleasure of 'meeting' online during the recent Paper Crafts Gallery Idol 2013 Contest. She's created a beautiful butterfly card  as inspiration. Though I think you could as easily have used the bold, bright color palette as the basis for a design I opted to go with the butterflies.

There's quite a bit going on in this design and it's an unusual color combination for me but I am pleased with the way it turned out and it was fun to make. I'm adding the Case Study Challenge to my list and I hope to be able to join in on from time to time.

Happy Crafting!

Paula, this turned out so pretty! I love how you made the butterflies more dimensional. With the honeycomb paper and the honeycomb in the background this is all tied together so nicely. Tons of great details! Well done!

Very pretty. The bright orange butterflies add a perfect pop of color. I also like the background and the use of the hexagon patterned paper to match it.
