Better Late Than Never - OWH VCMP Day 2

It's 3 pm East Coast time so I guess it would be fair to say I'm a little late to day 2 of the party. I've found myself getting hung up on the photographing/posting end of things but here's what I've got so far...
Papers Safari Chic Mat Stack (DCWV) - Button Blueprints 1 Die Set (MFT) - Sentiment, my own custom design
Sunday Sketch Challenge #188
Hosted by OWH on the Stars & Stamps blog

Nothing too complicated on this one... I flipped the sketch, cut three flag banners from the same 4x6 sheet of paper, added a paper a button, some jute twine, a simple hello stamp, some inking on the edges and it was done.
Turtley Awesome Stamp Set (Stampers Best) - Streamers Banner Dies (Paper Smooches) - Circle & Pinking Circle Dies (Spellbinders) - Tiny Mosaic Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug)
Challenge #7
Hosted by Sybrina
Create a Kids Card ... Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge

I went with the choices right down the center of the board... stamping/coloring, punny sentiments and things with four legs. This adorable turtle is one of the Stampers Best OWH Fundraiser stamp sets created by Sandy. The turtle is a combination of paper piecing and coloring.

Camouflage Bear (Hambo Stamps) - Designer Label Stax (MFT) - Paper String (Tim Holtz)
Colored with Spectrum Noir Markers
Challenge #10
Hosted by Donna

Since I had this cute Camouflage Bear digi  by Hambo Stamps in my pile of already colored images I decided I'd get in on this last challenge of the night before packing everything up. I cut a frame using the Designer Label Stax from My Favorite Things. I think it's a bit easier to see in the close up but my bear is sitting, slightly recessed inside the frame. Since it's an 'Anything Goes' week at the Hambo Hoedown I'm gonna go link this one up there too!

If you didn't have a chance to play along this weekend remember that the InLinkz will stay open to September 8th so you still have time. I missed a couple of the challenges and if time permits will go back to them during the week. Thanks to everyone who hosted and participated... for me and for now.... the party is over! :)

Happy Crafting!

Paula,

All three of your cards are fabulous. I find myself especially drawn to the first one -- so CAS!

Thanks so much for all you do for OWH, for playing along with this challenge, and for leaving such supportive comments throughout the year. :)

Paula All your cards are really nice. Love the background paper on the bear. I think I only got three cards finished myself. Oh well tomorrow is another day

Hi Paula! Your cards are awesome! Love that turtle - he's been on my mind for a few weeks and I just love the paper piecing of his shell. That little guy is moving up the list of cards I want to make now!!

I forgot to put on my post that I used painter's tape instead of masking tape. Little less adhesive so it doesn't mess up an ink pad.

Well, it's back outside helping with painting the house for me! Hope your Labor Day is terrific!
