OWH Birthday Bash with Perfect Papercrafting

Welcome! I am delighted to be participating in today's skip with Perfect Papercrafting. If you're hopping along in order you should be coming from Kim's blog and you can find the start of of the skip at...

By now I'm guessing you're convinced that the Perfect Papercrafting Perfect Layers tools are pretty amazing. I've made two similar cards based on OWH Sketch #115 to show you what the card looks like after adding some extra layers. I chose a sketch that is quite simple to show you what a big difference adding the extra layers makes.

In my after card I think you'd agree that the layers help to add nice contrast between the elements and gives the card a more detailed and polished look. Using the Perfect Layers tools eliminated all the extra measuring and made it easy to do.

That's it for me today! Before I send you on to your next stop just a quick reminder  that Perfect Paper Crafting has generously given us a discount code (code = OWH5%) for 5% off your purchases (no expiration) and they'll also be doing a drawing for a $50 gift certificate. Simply comment on every blog on the hop to qualify.

Many thanks to Perfect Papercrafts for joining us today and to you for stopping by. Now head on over to your next stop to see what Diane has in store for you today...

Happy Crafting!

WOW! Layers make a difference, and you really proved it here! I like the varied colors of layers, I usually stick with one color for all of the layers, but the use of several layers on this card really made the papers and stamp image pop! Beautiful card (as always)

Paula, wonderful card as usual. I love the matting layers, my fav. Really love the ease of combining solids and a print on a card to add interest, but not be so cumbersome,. Thanks for the inspiration!

I told Sandy & I'm gonna include you, I will be printing out your card examples to show at my card making workshop this weekend. I drill "layering" into the ground with my ladies, but some just don't get it, or don't want to take the time & effort. Maybe seeing a few more great examples like this will help them.
