I managed to find both some time and motivation to make cards this past weekend and here are a couple. This first card is my interpretation of this week's OWH Sketch. I didn't have a big, wide scalloped edge so I improvised and created mine by placing three 1-3/4" round punches close together and since the strip to the left was covering the edge it worked out perfectly.

This next one fits the bill for this week's MWT Color Challenge to use Complimentary Colors (that is colors that are opposite each other on the subtractive color wheel). This web site WORQX.COM is a great source for some basic as well as lots of detailed information about color and they have some wonderful graphics to explain the concepts as well.

Great cards as always...I may have to CASE the first as I have some paper like that with the letters. TFS!!!
Hi Paula,
Both cards are great! I love the color and paper choices in both of these.
Thanks for the Web site info. And thanks for playing along in the Midweek Throwdown color challenge. :)
You have such a good eye for color. Those blue circles on your sketch card are perfect.
Your color challenge card makes me see why they are called complimentary colors. Gorgeous!
I like your bright, cheery colors on both cards! I'm glad you were able to join in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps sketch challenge.
Hi Paula! Your cards are wonderful! I love the colors combinations - I've been using a lot of blue lately also (maybe because I miss seeing any blue in the sky!).
Love your cards! I did the same thing with the circles. I cut mine on Cricut and put them side by side.
