It's Been A While... Bazzill Swap

It's been a while since I have posted but I've got a couple of good excuses... Hurricane Sandy left me without power for just under a week and I've been slowly but surely recovering from a back injury.

Anyway, I thought I'd make a quick post to share the cards I received from my participation in the Christmas Bazzill Basics Paper Card Swap. This was the first time I participated in a swap and it was fun. You send in 10 identical cards and receive back 10 cards (plus one of your own, mine is top center in this photo). It's fun to see cards created by other card makers. I may write some quick Any Hero notes in these and get them off into the mail real quick so they can be included in some December OWH packages.

They are doing another for Valentine's Day and are once again offering a deal on 2 paper pads (one is 8x8 and one is 6x6).  It seems like they are making the offer to get swap participants but I don't see anything saying you 'must' participate to take them up on the paper offer so it's a good way to try out Bazzill paper, especially if like me you have no where locally to actually see or buy this brand. If you are interested you can check it out here... www.bazzillbasics.com/card-swap

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

I think Hurricane Sandy justifies as an acceptable excuse! ...lol We had our own problems at my fiancé's house in New Jersey. This looks like a terrific swap. I think I'd like to do the next one. Do you need to purchase that pack directly from Bazzill? Or can it be found elsewhere?
