It's been a very slow start for me this year where card making is concerned. I've spent a lot of time organizing and 'thinking' about making cards but not so much 'actually' making them. I have however found my interest in 'coloring' renewed lately. It's something that comes and goes with me. I will color a lot for weeks and then not color for weeks at a time. I recently went through my folder of digis and came across a bunch of images I had but never got to printing and coloring and this was one.
This adorable image is by Elizabeth O. Dulemba, a super talented illustrator and friend to OWH. Be sure to head over to her blog and sign up for her weekly email so you can see any new image she adds to her coloring pages.
I don't own any Copics (too costly for my budget) but instead use Prismacolor markers. They are similar to Copics in that they are alcohol based, but they are not refillable, you can't rely on the numbering system to help you choose your colors and the entire system contains only 168 colors, but at an everyday price of $2.19 each online (cheapjoes.com or dickblick.com) they could be a great alternative for some people, especially if you want to dive into coloring since you could have a nice selection with a fairly minimal investment.
I've been enjoying coloring a lot of fun images. Now I just need to get them made into cards.
Happy Crafting!

I like how you did that bottom button and the colors are wonderful.
Wonderful!
Oh, my goodness. This image just makes me happy. Don't you know some youngster is going to be delighted when they receive this card from Mom or Dad?
This is a cute image, and very nicely colored!
Paula - What a nice job you did on this! I'm going to feature your creation in my March 5, 2013 Coloring Page Tuesday newsletter. If you or your friends are not yet subscribed, you can do so at http://dulemba.com/index_ColoringPages.html .
