Right on Target - Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger

Photo inspiration challenges are among my favorites. I tend to keep my focus and interpretation pretty tight and while it's totally acceptable to take one element of a photo and work with it, I like to try an echo all of the elements is one way or another. This colorful target design is the Trigger for this week's Moxie Fab TT challenge.

The first thing that stood out to me was the wide array of colors and the even thickness of the bands, so that is where I started when I created my card. I used a technique that was featured in an OWH Tuesday Tutorial and called Scrappy Backgrounds. To make this easier I use a full sheet self-adhesive label stock that I cut down for my card base and then carefully stick my pieces to the adhesive side of the paper. It gives me a good, even bond and eliminates the need to fuss with any other adhesive where my background is concerned.

Sizzix Big Dot Embossing Folder

I didn't want to completely ignore the circle element of the Trigger so I picked it up by using the dotted embossing folder and by putting my image into a circle too.

Happy Crafting!

Super duper job! Love the embossed circles on top of the horizontal scraps, and the adhesive sheet was SO SMART!
