Thank You So Very Much - One Print Card Kit

Tomorrow is World Card Making Day and the annual Operation Write Home Blog Hop is due to kick-off bright and early over on the Stars & Stamps blog. I'm starting the party a little early today and sharing a freebie One Print Card Kit. What's a One Print Card Kit you ask? Basically it's a bunch of coordinated elements all on one 8.5 x11 that you can print out and create a card with. I created a Patriotic one for the OWH Memorial Day blog hop and got several requests for another and this seemed like the perfect time to do it.

The card you'll see on my blog tomorrow uses only pieces from the kit but the two I have to share today have some other elements added. On this first one I was aiming for a  feminine design. I chose a green plaid paper and added some flowers punched from scraps. These flowers are Stampin Up punches but you could easily substitute whatever you have handy. The sentiment, leaves and green stripe below the sentiment are part of the kit. Some extra layering with a navy blue and hot pink panel add  a nice frame and the yarn bow adds some detail and dimension too.

In this sample the burgundy flag banner is from my scrap box and again I added some extra layers behind the sentiment and the striped orange brown strip. This time I chose a kitchen string to add just a bit if dimension since the elements, while layered are all flat.

While you can certainly make a card using just the kit by mixing in some other pieces you can make a much wider variety of card designs and really personalize them. It's the extra touches like including extra layers and embellishing a card with things like cords or ribbon that can make a card stand out.

A few quick tips on using the One Print Card Kit...

• I printed my sheets on card stock which I think makes it easier to cut.
• You can't see it here but I used my packing tape to add a shiny finish to my leaves.
• The buttons in the kit are sized so you can use a 1" punch on them.
• Make sure your printer is set to print the PDF at 100% on  8 1/2 x 11 Paper
• Every printer is different so experiment with different papers and settings.
• If you're results are less than great, have copies printed at a copy shop.

You can download the file HERE. The file will open in a new window and you can download it by clicking the arrow at the top left corner of the screen. I hope you enjoy using it in your crafting projects and simply ask that you post a link back here if you'd like to share it but please do not sell it, repost it or claim it as your own. You may reproduce this at a local copy shop in large quantities for use at card parties and personal use but not for resale, please. I would LOVE to see what YOU make with it!

Happy Crafting!

This looks great! It's going to be a "regular" in my box of OWH cards. It's perfect to get the mojo going when it is trying to hide somewhere else.
