Almost Time for Baseball

I'm not a big fan of snow or more accurately the 'aftermath'. It's very pretty when it first falls but having to deal with shoveling and cleaning it is another story. Alas, there is more heading my way tonight, but my thoughts are turning to baseball because this Friday, New York Yankee pitchers & catchers will report to a 'mostly sunny and a balmy 65°' Tampa, Florida. Okay, maybe balmy is a bit of an exaggeration, but it's 17° here today so 65° sounds like heaven to me. LOL

The image on this card is from a long retired Stampin Up set called 'Take me Out to the Ballgame' (I've had it for many years but plead the 5th when it comes to what I paid for it in an Ebay auction). The sentiment is a retired, but more recent SU set called 'Sporting'. The papers and faux ribbon strip were leftovers in my scrap box but are originally from my Free Patriotic Card Kit and the Stacking Stars Die from MFT (My Favorite Things) is one of my favorite, most used dies.

Here's hoping that you're enjoying the weather you're getting wherever you are today.

Happy Crafting!

Baseball season is my favorite also. I could practically throw a stone to the Steinbrenner stadium in Tampa...want me to run over there and say hi to the guys from you?
I love the red white blue on your card!!!
