Hello and welcome to my stop on today's OWH Fundraiser Blog Hop. I'm excited to be able to join in and show you a few of the brand new dies being introduced by Die-Versions to support OWH. If you're hopping along in order you should be arriving from Archi's CraftCave
If you've gotten off-track or want to start from the beginning head on over to
Now on to my card shares. I created two cards that will both be used as Any Hero notes. (If you're new to OWH, those are the handwritten notes of thanks and greetings included in each and every box of cards sent out.
In this first card I used my Die-Versions die to cut the focal point sentiment and then I used the resulting 'stencil' to trace out my other hexagons so they'd all be the same size. Creating your own stencils with dies is a great way to stretch your creativity and your crafty budget all at the same time.
I used a pencil to trace the hexagon shape onto the back side on my papers using the die-cut reverse shown here, and then used a ruler and craft knife to cut along the traced lines. Easy!
On this card, featuring the Hero edge die and Combat Boots by Die-Versions I used some scrap papers in various greens, torn and inked to create a camo effect for the background. Inking the bootprints in an uneven pattern gives then a little added dimension and texture.
Thanks to Die-Versions for creating these great fundraiser dies for OWH and to you for stopping by and visiting with me. You have a lot more to explore on today's hop and your next stop is
Happy Crafting!
