Nova Scotia Lighthouse

Hello! I'm going to ask forgiveness for making this post short. I'm managing to get back into the swing of 'creating cards' but photographing, uploading and posting them is still a stumbling block.

This beautiful lighthouse image is an oldie but goody from Stampin Up. I think this stamp set is among my all-time favorites and I can without a doubt say I got my moneys worth having used it more times than I can count. So many times that his card probably looks like a lot of others I've done.

The fine yarn is reminiscent of rope but it's very soft and stays pretty flat making it  a nice choice for card making.

I colored this image with my Spectrum Noir Markers, which need some loving-care after sitting unused for quite a long time it's time for some re-inking and nib changing.

Happy Crafting!

Very handsome with the patterned paper colors. I like your yarn rope effect. Thanks for taking the time to share it!

Everything about this card is perfect. I can almost hear the lapping of the waves on the shore and the seagulls screech as I look at it!
