More Dad Cards

I only made a few Father's Day cards this year because I knew I wouldn't have another box ready to ship in time for the April 30th deadline. Working on 'everyday' themes means I can basically ignore the OWH deadlines altogether and work at a pace that suits me. Here are two I included in my most recent box. Again in these designs I relied heavily on letting the papers do most of the work.

I am not sure who makes this luggage tag paper but I can tell you I bought enough to last me for a very long time because I've had it for a couple years and use it often. Stamps in both of these are that same small set of 3 that I think are by Hampton Arts.

The paper in this card is from the K&Co. Boy Scout pad and is "as is" with the exception of the trees (Stampin Up - 'Lovely As A Tree' set) that I added in brown ink.

If you are making Father's Day cards for OWH and be sure to check out the Spring Training Blog Hop over at the OWH Stars & Stamps blog. OWH Partner companies are sharing techniques, designs and ideas for masculine cards, just in time for Father's Day.

Happy Crafting!

P.S.  Among the Free Digis I have on my blog (under the label Freebies in the right hand column) is one for World's Greatest Dad and I thought I'd mention it here for anyone who might like to have it.

That luggage paper is awesome! Your sentiment really pops on it. Boy, do I love the colors on that second card. The "Lovely as a Tree" set is so versatile. I need to use mine more.
